Don is locally born and raised to strong knit family, born in Brooklyn, he moved to Staten Island’s Westerleigh community many years ago.
Don is also blessed with a beautiful family that is very important to him. Active in community causes and organizations, Don has been a coach, manager, and Director of West Shore Little League. He is a member of the Kiwanis international Organization and the local North Central Kiwanis Club where he was a past board of directors, past club President, and Lt. Governor of Staten Island’s Kiwanis Metropolitan Division.
A past board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, he successfully lobbied Albany legislators for state funding for The Grace Foundation. He was appointed by Borough President Jim Molinaro to the local CEC 31 Public School Board. Don is also a past president of the Staten Island Electrical Contractors Association. He is also involved with other community non-for-profit organizations.
DRP’s future looks very “Bright”, as Sparky, our mascot, often projects.
Donny grew up in Staten Island and education was important to him, so after finishing college he knew he was going to join DRP.
Donny’s introduction to the electrical industry came at a young age by working after school and during summers for his dad. He has dedicated himself to mastering his craft with the intent of succeeding his father & building DRP into a multi-generational family business for generations to come.
Client satisfaction is the most important goal to Donny. Gaining (and keeping) their clients’ trust during a renovation, new build, or service call is one of DRP’s primary focuses. In addition to being good business, it is extremely rewarding to be able to provide solutions for all of DRP’s customers during their times of need.
