If you are a homeowner acting as your own General Contractor or a General contractor looking to build a relationship with a quality, efficient, and punctual electrical contractor, then give us a call. We are experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of new construction spec homes and custom homes. We can even help design a specific lighting plan for those who need help with ideas.
We do it right the first time. All of our new construction projects start with a comprehensive walk through/layout. Once we have agreed on a plan we will “box” out the home. This consists of placing all of the recessed lights, light boxes, and switch/outlet boxes on the wall. After this step we have another walk-through to determine any final changes. After the box layout has been approved we will start to drill holes for all of the new wiring. No beams will be drilled unless approved by code and contractor. We also wire for CAT6E cable, security systems, cameras, and whole home vacuum systems. If you have a set of plans just email them over and we can get you an estimate on your next project!
No matter what size HVAC equipment you are installing, DRP Electrical Contracting can provide your power supply and control wiring. If you are a General Contractor or a HVAC contractor looking for a reliable electrical contractor look no further. Please give us a call today!
Increasingly Insurers are insisting that their Insureds provide Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) when renewing their insurance policies. This reduces the risk of a building fire, and injuries to employees, whereby decreasing the insurance company’s exposure to building, property and employee compensation payouts. If you suffer an avoidable accident, then under the law, if found guilty, you will be deemed to have committed a criminal offense. Insurers will not pay fines or compensation suffered resulting from a criminal offense.
An EICR is an inspection on the condition of an existing electrical installation, to identify (in order of priority) any deficiencies against the national safety standard for electrical installations. An EICR will reveal if any of your electrical circuits or equipment is overloaded, find any potential electrical shock risks and fire hazards in your electrical installation, identify any defective DIY electrical work, and highlight any lack of earthing or bonding.
